Pricing as simple as the product

Two products. Two prices. One payment. No subscription, ever.

The whole memory-keeping category is moving toward subscriptions and stacked tiers. We are not. You pay for the letter you are writing, we mail it on the date you said, and we both move on with our lives.

The Two Products

Digital or handwritten — both arrive in the mail

Same envelope, same wax seal, same delivery promise. Only the words inside come from a different keyboard.

Digital Future Letter

one-time, US shipping included

Type your letter online. We print it on cream stationery, seal it with wax, and mail it on your chosen date.

  • Printed on heavyweight cream paper
  • Sealed with red wax
  • Mailed first-class USPS
  • Any delivery date, 1 month to 2 years out
  • Sealed and uneditable after submission

Mail-in Handwritten Letter

one-time, US shipping included

You handwrite the letter. Mail it to our PO box. We store it sealed and mail it back on your chosen date.

  • We never open the seal
  • Any delivery date, 1 month to 2 years out

Included With Both

What you do not pay extra for

Postage

USPS first-class shipping inside the US. No surprise “plus shipping” line at checkout. The stamp is included in the price.

Storage

We hold your letter in climate-controlled, fire-resistant storage for as long as it takes (up to two years). No monthly storage fee.

The Wax Seal

Real wax, pressed with our stamp. It is the entire visual promise of the brand. We are not going to nickel-and-dime you for it.

Mail-Day Notice

One short email the morning your envelope goes in the mail, so you can start watching your mailbox. That is the only email we send.

On Purpose

Why there is no subscription

The whole memory-keeping industry is being eaten by subscription models — Storyworth, FutureMe, photo-book apps. They are great businesses. They are not what we are.

A letter to your future self is a one-time act. You sit down, you write the thing, you seal it. The pricing should match the act: you do it once, you pay once, and you do not think about us again until the envelope shows up.

If you want to write another one next year, write another one next year. Same $9 or $19. No grandfathered tiers, no renewal calendars, no plan to manage.

Pricing Questions

The honest answers

Is there a subscription?

No. We do not have one, and we will not add one. You pay for the letter you are writing — $9 for digital, $19 for handwritten — and the next charge is whenever you write another letter. There is no auto-renewal, no membership tier, no upsell.

What is included in the $9 Digital Future Letter?

Everything. You type your letter online, we print it on cream stationery, seal it with red wax, write the address by hand, and drop it in the US mail on the exact date you chose. The price includes printing, the wax seal, the envelope, USPS postage, and storage in our climate-controlled studio between now and your delivery date.

What is included in the $19 Mail-in Handwritten Letter?

You handwrite your letter on whatever paper feels right. You mail it to our PO box in your own envelope, sealed. We store it sealed (we never open it) in fire-resistant, climate-controlled storage until your chosen date, then mail it to the address you picked. Storage, return postage, and the act of holding your envelope for up to two years is all included.

Are there hidden fees? Shipping charges? Anything extra?

No. The price you see is the entire price. The wax seal is included. US shipping is included. The envelope is included. Storage is included. The only thing not in the price is a second letter — that is another $9 or $19.

Can I get a discount if I buy multiple letters?

Not currently. Each letter is priced individually because each letter is a separate physical thing we have to print, seal, and mail. We have considered bundles for parents doing annual letters to a child, but we have not built that yet. If you want to write five letters to your kid one per year, it is five orders of $9 each. Sorry.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not yet. Right now we mail USPS to US addresses only. International is on the list but not built — the postage math, customs, and reliable delivery windows are real engineering problems we have not solved at $9 a letter.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Before we have printed or mailed your letter, yes — email support and we will refund you. Once a digital letter has been printed and sealed (the day we mail it), or once a handwritten letter has been mailed back to you, the refund window is closed because the physical work is done.
